Hi everyone! My name is Kate Sykes and I’m from Cumbria in the North of England.
My journey with Lara Croft began when I was 8 years old after discovering Tomb Raider III second-hand.
She instantly became a character I admired and looked up to growing up.
In 2007, I did my first cosplay and I’ve never looked back.

In 2016, I had the honour of being an Official Lara Croft Cosplay Ambassador alongside Laura Eliza Cosplay at EGX for the 20th anniversary celebrations.
I’m also very passionate about writing! I’m pursuing a career in film and I’ve written a few fan films such as Athena which follows the story of Lara Croft’s daughter and Tomb Raider: Hunted based on the 2013 “Tomb Raider” reboot.
