TOMB RAIDER 2 DELAYED INDEFINITELY

News has broken that the untitled sequel to Hollywood's "Tomb Raider" (2018), starring Oscar winning Swedish actress Alicia Vikander, has been delayed indefinitely due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
MGM have now pulled the release date of 19th March 2021.
The film, to be directed by Ben Wheatley and written by his partner Amy Jump, was originally intended to begin shooting in April of this year. Locations included South Africa, Beijing, the UK and Finland, however South Africa and Beijing are seemingly now off the table.
With no new release date, it's unclear when production will start but a tie in with Tomb Raider's 25th anniversary is looking unlikely.
