Hayley Atwell to Voice Lara Croft in Netflix Animated Series

English actress Hayley Atwell, best known for her portrayal of Agent Peggy Carter in the Marvel universe, has just been announced as the voice of Lara Croft for the upcoming Netflix animated series “Tomb Raider” from Legendary Entertainment and dj2 Entertainment.
“Tomb Raider” is being written by Tasha Huo who crafted the stories for “The Witcher: Blood Origins” and “Red Sonja”.
It’s set to follow on from the rebooted video games and is rumoured to bring back the character of Zip from some of the earlier games to be one of Lara’s travelling companions.
Atwell becomes the eighth actress to take on the role.
Edit: Further casting announcements reveal that Earl Baylon will be reprising his role as Jonah Maiava from the rebooted games and the character of Zip will indeed by making his television debut as well voiced by Allen Maldonado.
